An introduction into making thumb pots; the most basic process of pinching and feeling the clay to make simple vessels. This activity is suitable for beginners and is a gentle way to explore the tactile nature of working with clay. Three pieces will be made on the evening. These handheld bowls are then fired and finished in an organic drippy glaze.
Please aim to arrive at 6.45pm as the class will start promptly with a demonstration at 7pm. We will finish by 9.15pm. Pots are then taken back to the studio to be fired. They are ready for collection from 15th February from Wattle&Daub Home.
The cost is £35. The maximum class size is 10. To book a space please
